Why should you upgrade your commercial HVAC system?

Spring and summer months are coming and if your building is operating with an outdated HVAC system, you may need to brace yourself for some expensive utility bills once the central air is turned back on. Old HVAC systems are notorious for not operating as efficiently as they could be. Here are some important reasons why you should upgrade your commercial HVAC system before the warm weather hits.

Reason #1: Energy Efficiency
Commercial buildings are generally very large and use significant amounts of energy every month. This translates to a large portion of your company’s utility bill. Oftentimes, companies are interested in finding ways to save money and cut costs, and upgrading your system can help with that. A new, energy efficient system can easily help offset the initial cost of the system when you factor in the rising costs of energy over time. Older equipment not only uses more energy, but it also means that there could be expensive repair costs to factor in.

Reason #2: Comfort, comfort, comfort
If you want consistent temperatures, humidity control, or better air quality? A new system will do all of these things (and more) for you! Not only will your business be more comfortable, but you’ll be saving money – and that makes your wallet more comfortable as well!

Reason #3: Your new equipment comes with a warranty.
Buying a new system means that you can breathe a sigh of relief and trust that your system is covered under warranty. Our heating and cooling systems come with warranties that allow you to make repairs if needed, rather than having to come up with money for an expensive repair later. Your new commercial HVAC system is built to withstand all sorts of Pacific Northwest weather – hot summer during days and cold winter months. No matter what the weather throws your way, a new system will keep you comfortable inside and offer the reliability, energy efficiency, and comfort that you require for your business.

There’s no better time to upgrade to a new commercial HVAC system! Whether your business is located in Hillsboro, Tualatin, Tigard, or Sherwood, our experienced, no pressure sales team is here to help you decide which system is right for your business and budget. I agree that comfort is a big benefit to upgrading a commercial air conditioning system. When I am out shopping, there is nothing worse than a hot, stuffy store. I think making the customers and employees comfortable is an important thing for a business to think about. The added benefit of saving money sounds pretty appealing as well.

It makes sense that a new HVAC system would provide a lot more temperature control and better air quality. I would also think that having a good system tune-up could help as well. It would probably be a good idea to consult with your HVAC contractor to decide what would be the best choice for you.

I personally have had to experience the nastiest heating conditions out there when I was pregnant last year. So your section about comfort, I would agree with one hundred percent. Being hot and pregnant was not a good combination when the AC was out at my place of employment. It was awful. So I agree there are benefits to upgrading to a commercial unit, and the money you can save is a tremendous amount.

As a business owner, the energy efficiency is the biggest benefit that I took away from this article. An old or poorly running HVAC system will completely drain the bank account.

Thank you for the informative article you stated that new air conditioning units are terrific because they provide consistent temperatures, humidity control, better air quality and can save you money. My brother’s current AC unit is terrible at keeping his house cool, but still has a very high energy bill. I’ll tell him to find a service that could help him find a good system, so that he can save some money on his energy bill.

I have always been curious about how a company goes about choosing an air conditioner for their building. One thing that really stood out to me is that upgrading can actually get you a new warranty on the unit you have! It would be nice to know that you will be able to get it fixed without having to spend the money in the end.

In your article, you stated that companies are interested in finding ways to save money and cut costs, and upgrading your system can help with that and a new, energy efficient system can easily help offset the initial cost of the system when you factor in the rising costs of energy over time. My wife called me at work this morning because our air conditioning unit started making some loud noises. I wonder if commercial air conditioning units work the same way as residential units do.

You said that when you buy a new system then it will be covered with a warranty. Maybe I should ask a professional how long the warranty would last. It might be a good idea for me to find a company that I like and that I trust when I am getting the HVAC that I need.
