Green Initiatives
In 2019, we recycled 187,251 pounds (93.6 tons) of scrap metals. We also recycled 558 pounds of R22 refrigerant that is enough refrigerant for 117 air conditioners. All of the refrigerants we reclaim can be recycled and reused. This is something we are very proud of and take great pride in.
At Specialty Heating & Cooling LLC we actually have an employee on staff called the Master Recycler, who oversees everything from scrap metal and refrigerant recycling to paper, cardboard to oil. If it can be recycled, we will take every effort to do so.
